Birds of a Feather Drop Dead Together

Another tattoo on Amets, part of a morbid leg collection of sorts. So glad I finally got to tattoo this Bert Grimm flash. Thanks, bud!
A rad little mandrake root guy on my buddy Michelle. Thanks!

A couple sketches I've been working on, for shits and giggles. Starting work on a couple flash sheets. If you want these or anything else tattooed on you in exchange for goods, services, or small sums of cold hard cash, feel free to shoot me an email. NWallinESQ@gmail.com Thanks for looking.

Nothin Feels Better Than Blood on Blood

Brett came over on Halloween and we did this tattoo, celebrating the steady grind. Been wanting to do a snake for a minute. Thanks as always, dude.
Put this on  Jeff, a well dressed gent and totally the cool tattooed teacher at the school he works at. Been wanting to do a tattoo of these clasped hands for a while too, glad I got the chance. Thanks a bunch for getting tattooed.

Remembering how rad it was to be at this show. So fun, so lucky.

I'm Worried Now, But I Won't Be Worried Long

A new painting and some spooky flash doodles. I've taken a short forced tattoo hiatus, but I'll be back in business hopefully next week. Drop a line, NWallinESQ@gmail.com. Thanks.

Let It Rain

1/2 of a friendship tattoo set, from an illustration in Be Here Now. This one's on Zibby, the other is on Jess. Thanks for letting me bro-tat you guys. And letting me call it a bro-tat.

Another half of a pair, this one's on Eric. The other is on Camille. Thanks, dudes, send me a postcard from LA.

Combination Go-Go's and ACAB tattoo on Thera. Tough as nails and cute as a button, like all good tattoos should be. Fuck cops*.

Walkin Down the Road with my Hat in my Hand

This is another one on Brett. He got knicked with the razor while shaving his beastly shin, but we did the tattoo anyway. All the while watching Goodfellas. Tufffff.
This one is an older one on my buddy Amets that I touched up recently. Millie Hull memorial tattoo. Do your research, kids.
Flyer I made for the last Friskey Whiskey show me and Drew put on. Fun times, as always.

Dog Days

Here are some tattoos I've done on myself over the last several months. The skull was pretty early on, and is a bit janky. The cat was an early attempt that I fixed up a bit recently. The dagger was a first experiment with color. Been tattooing a lot, but also flaking on friends that want tattoos sometimes. So sorry about that, if you're of them. I'll cut that out, I promise.
Tattoo underneath the skull is from an E.C. Segar drawing, put on by my old friend Tamara, rad lady who does rad stuff.
I believe that stick n poke below the dagger was the handiwork of Jess, an even older friend of mine, who also happens to be a rad lady that does rad stuff.

Thanks for looking. Drop me a line if you want a tattoo or whatever and ever. NWallinESQ@gmail.com

Love is for Barflies

A tattoo I did on Jason. I first met him by giving him a tattoo, now he's a friend. Sometimes life is cool. He drew the text, we both like R. Crumb fonts. Thanks, dude.

This one's on Josh, it's an Al Burian drawing. It was fun to do. Thanks for getting tattooed. One of his rad bands just finished a new demo, it sounds great.

Here's a flyer I put together for a show my band played earlier in the month. It was fun, all the bands are awesome.

Astral weeks and dog days ahead...

Black Coffee

Here's a tattoo on my dear friend Eric. His first tattoo was a bro-tattoo with me and our friend Jess. I've known him longer than any other friend I've got. Check out his sketch comedy stuff, they're doing big things. Here's to more tattoos and hanging again soon. Thanks, man.

A drawing I started a while ago that I almost like to much too ruin with sloppy coloring.
Here's some Bert Grimm flsh I redrew on a page. It was fun. I've got two Bert Grimm images on me. I love his stuff, classic in the truest sense.

Also, my band Bad Visions is playing on Sunday June 19th at Brooklyn Fireproof. We go on around 9 I think. It's free, and maybe a BBQ or something. Come hang.

Forever and Ever Amen

Here are some tattoos on my dear friend Brett. All of these were started over the last few months, and due to various machine problems or lack of technical ability didn't look too hot, so we went back into all three of them today. The cat the bottom is the most recent, but still over a month old. Brett was the first person to let me tattoo him when I bought a machine, and continues to keep trusting me with his skin. Thanks a lot, dude, I truly and greatly appreciate it.

Brett plays rad music. He's got a tape out on Wild Isle and is working on an LP. Support this man, he's a great dude who makes great stuff. They're few and far between.

Here Comes the Summer

Here's some flash sketches I threw together and sloppily started coloring.

Interpreting some Doc Forbes flash. If anyone sees this and wants me to tattoo any of these (or the cats) on them, I will not only do it for free, but also make you dinner. Holler. NWallinESQ@gmail.com

Flyer I did for this month's Friskey Whiskey show at Brooklyn Fireproof. Should be a blast.

I wish I was drunk and swimming in a spring in Texas all this weekend, but instead I was just drunk.

Punk's Dead, You're Next

Twin Peaks tattoo on everyone's favorite dude Chris. Go see his band The Men and buy their new record, they're seriously great. Thanks for getting tattooed, man.
Flyer for the next Friskey Whiskey show at Brooklyn Fireproof, booking miscommunications resulted in a bill of five rad bands. Come get weird, it'll be awesome.
I put together this quick digital collage thing for my new band's new internet presence. That was fun.

We're playing May 21st with Scapegoat, Pregnant, Foreign Objects, Perdition, and Crazy Spirit at 538 Johnson, and May 29th with dear friends Sweet Tooth Nelson and Teardrops at Legion (790 Metropolitan Avenue, BK). Come hang out.

Additional

Also, my new band is playing our first show. I made this flyer. It should be fun.

New Day Rising

New tattoos on rad people. I still don't have a working camera so these are mostly phone photos they were nice enough to email me, or otherwise put on the internet.

First narwhal, tattoo milestone. Thanks Thera.

First industry joke tattoo, another notch on the belt. Also this little dude has color now and looks great. Thanks for being totally game, Martha.

Another on downest dude Mr. Sidella. First attempt at dot shading. Thanks.

Once again, if I've promised you a tattoo or you want one get at me...NWallinESQ@gmail.com. Trades of any kind welcome.

Sprung

Springtime. New Stuff. Shows at Fireproof again, here's the last flyer I did. Thanks to all the friends and the bands, the show was rad and fun and drama-free. Praise the lord.
I started doing tattoos a few months ago. It's awesome, I'm getting the hang of it. Thanks to all of the great friends and friends of friends that've let me tattoo them, here's some photo evidence.

Thanks Scott. And Matt, though not pictured.

Thanks Jess.

If you want a tattoo shoot me an email. NWallinESQ@gmail.com. Pretty much any form of bartering is more than welcome.
